During the Annual General Meeting held on April 19, 2011, AnSem's shareholders have approved the results of the fiscal year 2010. AnSem is pleased to announce that the company ended once more the fiscal year with a positive result. AnSem presents Advanced Power Management for Low Power Medical Systems at AACD2011

Integrated Circuits have helped the medical world to diagnose, cure or improve a patient's life. Especially in the field of medical implants, new applications like treatments for epilepsy or depression are rapidly emerging. This is made possible by a combination of medical knowledge of the human body and improvements in IC design that allow more intelligence at low power consumption in a small volume.
Since the available power in a medical implant is extremely limited, high efficiency is required. This can be achieved by using different power domains for different functions. For nerve stimulation, voltages above 10V are needed as well. All these elements lead to the use of a dedicated power management system in a high voltage technology.

AnSem supports the Japanese Red Cross in their Earthquake & Tsunami Relief Efforts

AnSem and its employees made a donation to the Japanese Red Cross in support of their relief efforts to assist the people and communities affected by the recent earthquake and tsunami in northeastern Japan.
AnSem extends its condolences and deepest sympathy to those who have been directly affected by this enormous tragedy, and offers its support and sincere wishes for their recovery.
