Dear

Finally, spring is in the country, and in Ghent too! In a week the Floralies of Ghent, the Ghent five-yearly flower feast, will start(17-25 April 2010). But there is a lot more to experience in Ghent in the coming months. There is for instance the retrospective exhibition with works of Gustave Van de Woestyne in the Museum of Fine Arts (up to 27 June). Do you rather fancy music or architecture? Then you can really let yourself go at the world music festival ‘Les Goûts de Gand’ or on the Heritage Day (Erfgoeddag, 25 April). On the event list of our website www.visitgent.be you can actually find plenty of other interesting concerts, performances and events. You can find a small, random selection from the offer in this newsletter.

Does this sound moreish? No problem, in the summer our city is full of festivals: the Ghent Festivities, Gent Jazz Festival, OdeGand and many more. Don’t miss them!

Have a good time and hopefully we'll see you soon in Ghent!
